A cover letter that knows the employer.

Before it writes, Nora reads the job posting and the employer’s own website. It matches each requirement to your CV and writes a one-page letter that only uses employer details it can find in a source.

CV and cover letter tools are included with Nora Plus and Pro.

Research first, then write.

Read the role.

Nora reads the posting, the employer’s home page and up to three more of its own pages, such as About, Values or Careers.

Match your evidence.

Each requirement is marked as a strong match, a partial match or a gap against your CV. The letter never claims a gap.

Edit and download.

Get a letter of 250 to 400 words on one A4 page. Edit it, review it and download a PDF or Word file.

Every detail has a source.

Employer details are checked against the page they came from, and anything Nora can’t find there is removed. What the letter says about you must come from your CV or your notes.

  • No “I am writing to apply” or “To whom it may concern”
  • Job boards don’t count as the employer’s own website
  • Keep a letter with each application and copy it for the next role

Questions about cover letters.

No. Reading the posting and the employer’s website happens before the letter is written and doesn’t count towards your allowance. Writing the letter does.
